Abstract
In recent years,it has become more and more profound on the impact of AI-related technologies and concepts on artistic creation. As a music creator,it is necessary to think about the way it intervenes in composition and the changes in human-machine relationship it brings. This paper summarizes the current way of AI intervention in composition into three categories:"full replacement of artificiality",“partial replacement of artificiality”and“as a collaborator”.By analyzing several typical cases of compositions with different modes of intervention, and combining the actor network theory to sort out the human-computer relationship performance under different modes of intervention,we can summarize the impact of different modes of intervention on the development of music composition. The paper concludes that the intervention methods of “completely replacing artificiality”and "partially replacing artificiality"are capable to revolutionize the existing composition mode to a certain extent and improve the efficiency of the current composition practice, while the intervention method of“as a collaborator” liberates the human-computer relationship. The“as collaborator”intervention frees the AI as an intelligent individual, and has the potential to open up new directions of musical development for human beings.
