Abstract

The string music, string and bamboo music are two basic categories with similar relations in traditional Chinese instrumental ensembles.Since the founding of New China and in the context of economic development and government leadership, traditional music such as the string music, string and bamboo music has been greatly developed in various aspects of creation and performance, professional education, theoretical research, inheritance and protection, etc.,but there are also certain problems. For achieving good inheritance and development of traditional string and bam- boo music,a diversified inheritance and development mechanism based on folk autonomy should be established. As for folk music and its clubs, this paper suggests that the government should strive to restore the folk inheritance mechanism, and promote the natural and independent development of folk music. And then, traditional music clubs need to carry forward the tradition of elegant assembly of music clubs, build a diversified functional structure based on aesthetics including folk beliefs, profit-making and cognitive, etc.,and recognize the nature and function of inheritance and innovation, achieving fundamental inheritance and appropriate innovation.
