Abstract
Strengtherning the consciousness of Chinese national community requires to achieve cultural sharing with in the cultural community of the Chinese nation.Traditional Chinese music is quite rich and possesses distinct regional characteristics,but is not easy to become a shared culture.Therefore, it is particularly important to reveal the path of regional music symbols developing into shared culture in different periods.The article argues that regional music symbols have achieved an ascended level from local to national,from native to secondary,from traditional to modern,and shared on a larger scale by combining with traditional and Western music elements, thus giving Chinese national music culture the characteristic of“unity.”From the perspective of semiotics,the ascending motion of regional music symbols is a process of cultural transformation and increasing connotation to be- come higher-level meta symbols.Old symbol texts undergo“re-contextualization”to achieve “re-symbolization”, thereby generating new meanings.Through the ascending motion,regional music symbols have the function of forging a strong community of the Chinese nation,and furthermore,they can contribute Chinese strength to the construction of a “community with a shared future for mankind” in the future.
