Abstract

As a core infrastructure for future academic research, the“knowledge base”not only provides research tools or platforms for humanities scholars, but also promotes the formation of digital humanities methodology system. In the current circle of musicology, the theoretical framework and practical implementation of knowledge base that align with humanistic research needs, particularly regarding fundamental principles, overall processes, specific methods, and the integration of humanities research with technology, remain in exploratory stages, especially when addressing music scholars' specific research areas and scenarios.Based on practical experiences and reflections in my doctoral stage,I propose a solution centered on a“metadata-ontology”collaborative framework in the construction of knowledge bases. This involves creating a knowledge model that balances the normative aspects of musicology with computational operability, addressing the structural contradictions between explicit and implicit knowledge,as well as the imbalance between static descriptions and dynamic interpretations found in traditional research models. This approach aims to further enhance internal linking and recognition of Peking Opera music knowledge, promoting the application of“data-driven”research methods, and laying a foundation for knowledge discovery for researchers.
