摘要

上海博物馆藏梁其三钟,1940年与大批有铭青铜礼器出土于陕西扶风法门寺任家村一西周窖藏,“梁其”为作器者。梁其钟等青铜乐器所铸长篇铭文,记述了天子任命“善夫”梁其为“邦君大正”之职等事迹,社会内涵丰富,对今人认识西周的礼乐制度,有着较为直接的历史含义。以往学界从汉儒释“善夫”为管理宫廷膳食的“食官之长”;而这批青铜礼器多达140余件,同出的梁其盨铭明称梁其为伯(爵),可见梁其地位之显赫。“国之大事,在祀与戎”,商周的祭祀,位列军旅之先;而祭典用牺牲烹调,正与“膳夫”之名相关相称。《尚书》所载夔“典乐”事迹,恰恰从一个侧面印证了“善夫”梁其的“邦君”“大正”身份,“善夫”更应是负责“典乐”、教胄子,高居统管宫廷祭祀重典的“大祭司”——乐正“夔”!借助梁其三钟的形制及测音数据,可复原出全套梁其编钟的音列、音位和编列,由之为西周中晚期礼乐中的编钟“乐悬”,提供了又一实证。

Abstract

The three bells of LIANG Qi in the collections of Shanghai Museum were unearthed in 1940 along with a large number of bronze ritual vessels with inscriptions in a Western Zhou Dynasty cellar in Renjia Village, Famen Temple Town, Fufeng County,Shaanxi Province."Liang Qi"is the maker of the vessel.The long inscriptions cast on bronze musical instruments such as the bells of LIANG Qi record the appointment of the “shanfu”Liang Qi as the “ruler of the country”by the emperor,and contain rich social connotations,which have a direct historical significance for contemporary people's understanding of the ritual and music system of the Western Zhou Dynasty.In the past,the academic circle regarded the “shanfu”from Han Confucianism and Buddhism as the “chief of food officials”responsible for managing the imperial diets;yet this batch of bronze ritual vessels amounted to more than 140 pieces,and the accompanying inscription of the Xu(盨)of Liang Qi clearly referred to Liang as Bo(jue),indicating the prominent status of Liang Qi.“The major events of the country lie in the ritual of the military and the military.”The ritual of the Shang and Zhou dynasties was at the forefront of military affairs;And the sacrificial cooking used in the festival is in line with the name“Shanfu(chief of food officials)”.The“Shangshu(Book of Documents)”records the deeds of Kui in“Ritual Music”,which precisely confirms the identity of Liang Qi,the“shanfu(ruler of the country)”,as a“state ruler”and“great official”.Such“Shanfu”should ber esponsible for “ritual music”and noble offsprings education,which indicates the position of“high priest”in charge of the court's sacrificial ceremonies-head of music official“Kui”!With the help of the shape and phonetic data of the three bells of Liang,the sound sequence,phonemes,and arrangement of the entire set of Liang bells can be restored,providing another empirical evidence for the “hanging bell”arrangement in the ritual music of the middle and late Western Zhou Dynasty.
